The Standout
After sampling several from Precious Liquid, Acqua Oud stood out the most and was my first purchase from the brand. I used to wear Millesime Imperial by Creed and to my nose Acqua Oud smells like an updated, more exotic, avant garde version of that- the notes are not the same but it is an overall feeling or impression I get. The use of red seaweed and patchouli here is what really makes this fragrance unique and special. The sillage and longevity are potent so be careful with the trigger! I am also having a lot of fun layering this with different scents in my collection. There was a woman I found myself very attracted to who was always dressed to the nines, classy, mature and gorgeous. One day I was having a conversation with her while wearing Acqua Oud and she asked, “What are you wearing?” It isn’t the fact that she asked me- rather, it was the emotional inflection in her tone of voice when she asked that told me I smelled unusually amazing : )
